On the way home from the Children’s Museum with dad…
M: Daddy, if you’re not dead when I grow up, and I’m a doctor or an artist, will you become a doctor or an artist too so we can work together and be buddies?
Later that night after retelling the story at dinner…
D: Becoming a doctor is a lot of work. I could be a bad artist and you could be a good one and we could work together.
M: What about you Mom?
G: I might have better odds of becoming a doctor than an artist.
M: Okay. I’m going to be a doctor with Mom. Sorry dad.
